Manager
THE REAL 8-STEP WORKFLOW
Here is how CrewVora works.
Follow the screens managers and field employees use—from setting staffing demand to collecting availability, assigning crew, publishing schedules, and confirming the work plan.
This walkthrough uses a fictional electrical contractor. No customer or production data is loaded.
STEP 1 · Manager
Set job sites and staffing demand
Add the job, operating dates, and required headcount. Demand can also be specified by crew role or employment category when needed.

Crew Groups organize team membership; they do not batch-assign the entire group.
STEP 2 · Employee → manager
Submit availability from a phone
Employees submit available dates and hours from a monthly calendar. Managers see submitted, missing, and review states in one place.

Availability moves into the staffing decision without retyping chat replies into a spreadsheet.
Managers review availability, staffing demand, qualifications, and site conditions in one workflow. The manager remains responsible for the final assignment.
STEP 3 · Manager
See shortages, coverage, and excess crew
CrewVora compares required and assigned headcount for each job and date, showing exactly where the schedule still needs attention.

STEP 4 · Manager
Review eligible candidates
Candidates are ordered using availability, current qualifications, crew role, site eligibility, schedule conflicts, monthly targets, and employment-category priority. CrewVora does not make an automatic AI assignment.

STEP 5 · Manager
Review and assign a crew member
The manager checks why a person is eligible and assigns them to the job. Blocking qualification, site, role, and overlap rules are checked again when the shift is saved.

STEP 6 · Manager
Publish the completed schedule
After reviewing assignments, managers publish an individual shift or all future publishable shifts. Published work appears in each employee’s schedule.

Handle absences and late changes
Employees can request an absence, late arrival, or early departure from a published shift. A manager reviews it, checks the resulting coverage, and manually selects a replacement when required.
